Caterham Racing is pleased to announce that Chinese driver Ma
Qing Hua and Spain's Sergio Canamasas will drive for the team at
the first official GP2 test of 2013 in Jerez.
In 2012 Ma became the first Chinese driver to compete in a
Formula One event, completing four FP1 sessions for HRT as their
Reserve Driver. The Jerez test with Caterham Racing will be his
first outing in a GP2 car and the team will guide him through the
sessions and work closely with him to help both him and the team
gain the most out of the test.

Sergio Canamas has considerable GP2 experience, having competed
in the last ten races of the 2012 season with the Venezuelan GP
Lazarus team.
Caterham Racing is looking forward to completing a successful
test in Jerez from 26th-28th February and will
announce their GP2 Championship driver line-up in due course.
Caterham Racing Team Manager Phill Spencer: "We
are delighted to welcome both Ma and Canamasas to our team for the
first test of the 2013 GP2 season. Both drivers have lots to offer
and we look forward to working with them and helping develop their
skills in the GP2 car."
Ma Qing Hua: "I am looking forward to testing
with Caterham Racing in Jerez next week. This will be my first time
in a GP2 car and it is a great opportunity for me to learn the car
and work with such a professional team."
Sergio Canamasas: "I am very happy to test with
Caterham Racing in Jerez and I am looking forward to it. My target
will be to develop the car and to show good performance. We are
going to put everything in to the test and I feel sure that the
preparation I have done over the last three months will show."
